It’s not the events of our lives that ultimately shape us; it is how we choose to interpret them. In addition, it’s the questions we ask ourselves that determine how we choose to frame those events. Often times we ask the wrong questions, which only leads to the wrong answers.
Questions like, “Why, Lord? How come these things always happen to me? When will I get a break?” never result in a good or healthy answer. Questions like these continue to make us feel we are victims of circumstance.
On the other hand, questions like, “How can I learn from this. How can God use this to inspire and encourage others? ” lead to answers that bring creativity and courage.
God has provided the treasure of His wisdom for any situation we may face. It’s the questions we ask ourselves in the midst of those circumstances that determine whether or not we will discover the hidden wealth we need.
“….searching for it like a prospector panning for gold, like an adventurer on a treasure hunt, believe me, before you know it ……you’ll come upon the knowledge of God.”
